Mondays at 6-7pm.

Each session focuses on a different aspect of the GCSE English Language exam, with direct teaching on the questions that make the biggest difference between a grade 3 and a secure pass.

• 15th September – Reading skills: approaching unseen extracts, spotting key methods, analysing language clearly across both papers.

• 22nd September – Language Paper One: step-by-step strategies for questions 3 and 4.

• 29th September – Writing skills: developing descriptive writing techniques that gain marks.

• 6th October – Language Paper Two: how to approach questions 2 and 4 with confidence.

• 13th October – Writing skills: mastering persuasive techniques that impress examiners.

• 20th October – Exam focus: revision strategies, key reminders, and mock papers provided for final practice before November exams.

For students who need personalised support, I offer one-to-one resit tuition alongside the group course. These sessions are entirely bespoke and designed around each student’s specific exam performance.

I work directly with families and schools to:

• Identify the grade achieved on each paper in the summer exam.
• Pinpoint the exact questions or skills that caused difficulty.
• Build a targeted plan that focuses on the areas to improve.
